University Bayreuth: Restbus simulation without OEM information!

bayreuth_news_restbus.jpgDo you think, simulating the complete communication of a CAN Bus network in a small vehicle can only be done if you have access to OEM information? Doing a restbus simulation on your own is impossible? Bayreuth University will prove the opposite.

At the APRA European Symposium and Exhibition in Budapest, Bayreuth University and the Fraunhofer Project Group Process Innovation will exhibit some of their latest research results. At booth No. 51, you will be able to see and control a modern instrument cluster and an automotive electro-hydraulic power steering system, driven by a small microcontroller that provides the systems with the appropriate restbus simulation. These stand-alone solutions demonstrate the capability and potential of future test-ing equipment.

In addition to this, Bayreuth University and the Fraunhofer Project Group Process Innovation gladly offer their remanufacturing, cleaning, factory planning and manufacturing logistics services as well as their expertise in efficient production system planning to you.

Next to Bayreuth University, you will find the booth of APRA Europe’s Mechatronic and Electronic Division. There, you will get the latest information about their actual activities and meetings, in which present remanufacturing challenges of modern electronics and mechatronics are discussed.
